Chalk Art Festival

Saturday, April 30

Gather your family, friends and little ones for a celebration of art at the Desert Ridge Marketplace Chalk Art Festival. Watch as artists transform the Desert Ridge Marketplace sidewalks into colorful works of art using chalk. Local artists will create original artworks, each 8 foot by 6 foot, throughout The District. Eight unique murals will be created throughout the day.

Snap and share your photos with #DRMChalkArt

Community Mural and KidZone

Come play at the designated KidZone area and participate in the community mural. Chalk will be provided and art instructors will be on hand to assist children and participants.

   • Spotlight Youth Theatre – 12-1pm
   • Scottsdale Conservatory – 2-3pm
   • Purely Dance Performance Team – 3-4pm
   • Arizona Sunrays Dance – 4-5pm
   • Center Stage Stars – 5:30-6pm
